My C++ skills extend back to it's introduction on the PC, and have
been honed to a fine edge developing a wide range of applications both
commercial and contract. I would consider C++ to be my native programming
language. Currently I have a large library of classes that I can build on both
unix and windows, ranging from Sockets to HTML parsers ,CGI , Databases etc.

Here is another language that I sorta fell in love with. I write extensively
about the subject, and have written at various times some fairly interesting applications,
ranging from on-line video games to complex user interfaces.
I also have one of the few frames friendly, cross browser DHTML libraries
available (IE,NS,NS6 etc).
Another rare art is my use of co-operative CLIENT/SERVER dynamically
generated JavaScript, including custom JavaScript http daemons written
in C++.

HTML is one of those things I've been hand coding
with a plain text editor since 1994. I wrote my own web-guide on the subject
as well as articles for Netscape Magazine. I even wrote my own HTML parser
that functions in a fashion similar to PHP , although I first wrote mine almost a decade ago
I even write my own DTD's

CSS is another technoogy that I'm
pretty good at, and can do heads down wit ha plain text editor.
I even have javascript code to read the stylesheets and apply them to DHTML objects.
I'm most certainly aware of te angst of the box modelm and better yet solutions.

PHP is a fairly easy language for me, and I've used
it for many things. Many of the applications I put it
too relate to it's use as a thin backend interface for those
systems where I cannot use some of my stronger tools.
One of my most commonly used classes is a MySql interface tool
with a dual XML / JSONixed XML output most frequently
used for AJAX type applications exploiting JSON to convey data
while using XML/XSL to render the content in the browser.
I also write daemons in PHP too!

I am by no means a JAVA guru, but I have no problem coding with the language
and have made some awt tools as well as some utilization of JAVA sockets, servlets.
The similarities in syntax to my other favored languages makes it mostly a
matter of reference materials.
My last project with JAVA involved a ~56K applet to construct statistical queries.
It involved multiple dynamic list boxes populated from a custom database via
sockets, and x-browser javascript/JAVA communications.
